SMS & RCS messaging policy
RepairAble (tryrepairable.com) sends text messages (SMS, and RCS where supported) to keep you informed about an appliance repair you’ve requested — booking confirmations, appointment times, technician-on-the-way updates, and the diagnostic link a participating repair company sends when you ask them to.
How you opt in
There are two ways consumers opt in, both consumer-initiated:
- On our website. When you request a repair at tryrepairable.com and reach the booking form, you may check an optional box beside the mobile-number field that reads:
“Text me booking and appointment updates from RepairAble. Consent is optional — you can still book without it. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.”
Checking that box is your opt-in. It is unchecked by default, and consent is not a condition of booking a repair — you can complete a booking without agreeing to texts.
- By phone with a repair company. If you call a participating repair company and ask them to text you the diagnostic link, you give verbal consent on that call and their staff enters your number to send you the invite. Every message identifies RepairAble and includes opt-out instructions.
Message frequency & cost
Message frequency varies based on the status of your repair. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOPto any message at any time. You’ll receive a final confirmation and no further messages from that number:
“You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.”
Reply HELP for help, or email hello@tryrepairable.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
